Dr. John Burton: Awarded $106,670 by the Virginia Department of Education for his Instructional Technology Resource Teacher baseline analysis project.
Dr. Pat O’Reilly and Todd Ogle: Awarded $295,573 by the Department of Education for his work with an assessment and program improvement system for the Office of Career and Technical Education Services.
Dr. John Burton: Awarded a continuation proposal for the training and Technical Assistance Center (TTAC) sponsored by the Virginia Department of Education in the amount of $3,912,000.
Dr. Edward Wolfe: Recently received an award from Michigan State University in the amount of $6,000 for the Learning to Give instrument development project.
Congratulations goes out to Mr. J. Christopher Bunin of J. T. Henley Middle School, Crozet, Virginia who was selected to receive one of the National council Geographic Education’s Distinguished Teaching Achievement (DTA) Awards for 2006. He will be honored at the awards reception and banquet during the NCGE annual meeting in Lake Tahoe, Nevada, October 5-8, 2006.
