Licensure Information

Electronic Portfolios
The electronic portfolio is a requirement for completing the MAED comprehensive exam. Students in the Secondary Science Education Licensure Program (Blacksburg campus) will complete a portfolio with eight assessments/rubrics that are designed for initial license. Teachers in the Secondary Science Education Distance Delivery Program will complete a portfolio with a rubric for licensed teachers. The portfolio in both programs comply with the National Science Teacher Education Standards for Teacher Preparation.
